Update on Ezri Willow

I just wanted to update everyone on Ezri. She hasn't taken anymore steps since Monday. She was taking steps all day Sunday and Monday but none since. She has also pooped in the potty 4 times (3 yesterday and 1 time today) and pee peed in the potty 3 times! Another thing that she has started doing is the signs for "all done" and "eat". She does the sign for "eat" for both food and drink. She hasn't quite been able to do the sign for drink. Although I can say "do you want a drink?" and she will go get her cup. The last thing I wanted to update everyone on is that she "loves" on people now. I can say "love on daddy (or mommy)" and she will lay her head on us and start smiling. It is really cute! She is just getting so smart!
I thought the baby stage was my favorite age because I just loved holding her, letting her sleep in my arms, nursing her, and watching her discover her hands, feet, and everything else that she could get her little hands on. Well, I think I am really going to love this age! She is doing so much and is really starting to like to do things besides sitting in the floor and playing with one toy. Now she likes to go outside and play with her water table. She chases the cats around. She loves when she get a hold of Piper. Piper is the cat that actually like Ezri. Yes, he runs from her, for good reason, but if she gets him he just lays there and lets her torture him until she lets go. She tackles him and then lays on him like he is a pillow. It is so funny! She likes for me to chase her and she is just generally more active and I love it! Well, I will post some pictures soon of Ezri and of our house.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Happy birthday Mom! I just want to tell you that I am so blessed to have such a wonderful mother. I love you and am so grateful for all that you do for Preston, Ezri, and myself. I hope that you have a wonderful day and enjoy spending some time with Ezri. We love you!

Here is the gift that Ezri got Mimi:
I got this idea from Ruffles and Stuff's Mother's Day ideas. I only had Mickey Mouse chalk and a Mickey Mouse eraser though! :)

Sorry the videos are sideways but that was the only way I could get her from the angle I was at.

A Big Day!

Well, I can hardly believe that one year ago today I was holding my sweet baby girl for the first time. She was precious then but every day I get to spend with Ezri Willow is even sweeter than the day before! My, has God blessed Preston and myself! What a Great Lord we serve!

At a year old, Ezri Willow loves to dance! She loves to play along with "If you're happy and you know it!" She is very smart. She knows where her belly is, to stomp her feet, clap her hands, and to raise the roof! Yes, I said to raise the roof! :) And best of all, she took her first steps today! And a lot of them!

Unfortunately she was sick and contagious but once again, you wouldn't know by looking at her that she was sick. So she didn't get to have her birthday party but we celebrated with Grandma, Granddad, Mimi, Nannie, and Pawpaw. We had such a great time. We are so thankful that we had our family here to celebrate with us! Here are some pictures of her from her first day to now! We can't wait to see what God has in store for us this next year.

Ezri in May 2010

Here are a few pictures of Ezri during May.
Ezri on Old Timers Day at church. She had on a beautiful handmade and smocked dress from Mrs. Molly.
We went to the Field of Dreams. Ezri loves swinging!
Mmm... Spaghetti. Her favorite meal besides french fries.
Ezri and Ginny drinking their juice and milk. Where is William?
He just had to go get his milk so that he could join the girls!
Ezri and Giggi.
Did you just say that you wouldn't be here for my birthday Giggi? I don't think I like that.
Ezri, Giggi, Benz, and myself. Don't worry Giggi. We are not upset. We love you and hope you are having a great time in Alaska. We just expect a fantastic gift when you come home! Hehehe! :)
Ezri spending some time with Giggi and Aunt Vickie.
She was so sleepy! She just leaned over and went to sleep like that. It was so funny.

Update on our house

They have the dry wall up. They mudded (I guess this is the correct term? I don't know.) it Tuesday and were touching it up Wednesday. Next will come painting, cabinets, flooring, and then trim work I believe. Hopefully we will be in our new home soon! Here are some pictures of it with the dry wall up.
