Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

So, Ezri is now 1 day shy of being 4 weeks old! And I am just now finding a few minutes to update the blog. Ezri was born on June 12th at 10:35 am and weighed 6 lbs and 7 oz. She was 19 inches long and had a head full of hair. The delivery was great and easy. A lot of people have been waiting for pictures so the next few days I will be posting quite a few pictures. In just a few days she will be 1 month old so there will some 1 month old pictures posted! Hope everyone enjoys!

A little grin for everyone!

Another little grin

No more pictures!

A great big smile for mommy and daddy!
So this past weekend, Preston and I went to North Carolina to see our family and the newest addition! Leah is so very pretty and Jacob is one handsome little (well, actually quite big) man. We had a short but great visit with them. Leah is growing so fast and I hate that we don't get to see them more often. Well, while we were I got to get an ultrasound at 27 wks. It was such a great experience and so much fun! Ezri is growing so much. It was so neat to see her up close like that and to see her personality. She is quite stubborn and I have no idea where she gets that from! We did find out that my placenta has moved and we should not have to worry about that anymore! That was such a relief! Well, I hope everyone enjoys the pics of Ezri- courtesy of Prenatal Peeks and my wonderful sister-in-law Katie! Also, my next appointment is April 1, so I will let everyone know how it goes!

19wks and 3 days
20wks and 6 days

22wks
Today I am 22wks. These are the latest pics of me. I have grown quite a bit. Finally! At around 20wks I finally look pregnant! Ezri is now moving like crazy. We can see her kicking and pushing on my tummy, which sometimes looks a little weird. During class she will start kicking and I zone out watching her. At night Preston and I watch her and feel her for a little bit. She is very active at night.
I am now gaining weight finally since I am not getting sick as much. Preston and I went and registered at Babies R Us and that was a nightmare! I was so overwhelmed with all the stuff that we were told we needed! Hopefully we registered for everything that we will need when she arrives. Now Preston is about to start painting her room which I am excited about. I will post pictures of her room when we start making some progress.

These are the latest ultrasound pics of our little Ezri. These were taken at 18wks and 6 days. She apparently doesn't like to have her picture taken because in all of them that were of her face, she kept her hand in front of her. Hopefully the next ultrasound I have we will be able to see her face. My appointment went well. She weighed about 9 1/2 oz. She was healthy and of course very active. I was told that I have partial placenta previa right now but it is nothing to worry about. My doctor told me that only 10% of women still have it when they deliver. So no worries.

This was me at 16 weeks and 4 days. I am now 17 weeks and 3 days. I have not yet gained any weight. I have gained 3 pounds out of the 6 that I have lost. But I am sure that is going to change now that I have an appetite and a pretty big one at that. I still get sick when I first get up in the mornings sometimes but not all the time. I am feeling a lot better now. I have also got to feel her move. 2 nights ago, we were in bed and Preston was already asleep and of course I was still up trying to find a comfortable position. As I was laying there I finally felt her. It wasn't butterflies or anything. It was strong enough for me to know that it was her. I felt her 3 times and then she stopped. I haven't felt her since but I am excited to. I am more excited about when she gets strong enough that Preston can feel her which will probably not be for another few weeks.

So, it's been 2 months since I posted anything and I have lots of updates. I went back to the doctor on the 8th of this month. I gained 3 pounds of the six that I lost back so that was good news. I was almost 16 weeks and I still had not gained any weight. Also to our suprise we got to have an ultrasound. I was 15 weeks and 6 days. My doctor said that because I was so small it shouldn't be a problem to find out whether we were having a boy or a girl. So we had our ultrasound and found out that we are having a...GIRL!!! She was 5 inches long and absolutely perfect! Hope everyone enjoys the pictures!
