Oh My!

Today my mom, Ezri, and I went out to lunch at Mazatlan. Ezri finished eating and she got restless, as usual. My mom took her out of the high chair to play with her while I finished eating. She wanted to play with my keys, so I gave them to her. I have one of those little gadgets that lock/unlock and close/open all my doors. Ezri of course was pushing all the buttons but we were inside so I didn't think anything of it. Well, this is what I saw when we came outside to leave!
All of my doors were open!  :)

The tutu drive

As I was looking at some blogs that I follow, I came across this blog: http://samstermommy.blogspot.com/. For all the details, click here: http://samstermommy.blogspot.com/2010/06/tutu-drive-2010.html
I made a really easy tutu for Ezri for her birthday so I thought I could make a few for such a good cause. So I asked my mother-in-law if she would like to participate and she agreed. I thought I would post some pictures of the ones we made and ask that those of you who are able to make some. She would like to get 100 tutus to send and the last time that I checked she was up to 36. There are also some cape tutorials to make for the boys.
These tutus are no sew tutus and only take about 10 minutes to make. I hope that you can join in the cause to bring a smile to a child's face.

I meant to post this with the swimming post but I forgot to so here it is!

Trip to see Uncle Ross, Aunt Katie, and the kids!

We went to see Uncle Ross, Aunt Katie, Leah, and Jacob in June. Because Katie is awesome, she has already put pictures of our visit up. I am just now getting around to updating my blog. We had a blast in Texas. We wish we could have stayed longer but unfortunately, we had to come home. Ezri, Leah, and Jacob had so much fun playing together. We went out to eat, took walks, and played outside together. We can't wait to be able to go back and visit.
She did so good on the ride there. She had her baby that Aunt Kay got her and 101 Dalmations to keep her company.

Jacob trying to play ball with Ezri but she wouldn't cooperate.

Ezri and Jacob were so sweet to each other all weekend.

Ezri and Jacob laughing at Leah. Who wouldn't? She is a very funny girl!

We thought this was funny. Jacob's handprint on Uncle Preston's shorts.

Ezri loved playing outside while we were there. We only played in the mornings and afternoons because it was SO hot!

She had fun walking back and forth with Uncle Ross in the front yard.

Ezri and Leah talking to each other.

Jacob is so sweet!

I love this picture. They are sitting with each other doing their own thing, not paying any attention to each other.

Maybe I'm crazy, but they look just alike to me.

Woohoo! Look at those gorgeous ladies! :)

Having fun!

Leah and Ezri loved the zoo. They have such a cool zoo in Waco.

What a cool picture!

I promise Leah was having fun but she just wouldn't smile in a picture!

Jacob had fun playing on Ezri's potty seat! He crawled on it all weekend.

Why there were not more pictures of Ezri with Aunt Katie, I don't know. But she had a blast playing with that crazy lady!
We already miss visiting with them!

Ezri's 2nd first birthday party

Ezri's birthday tutu I made for her.
She was not a fan of wearing the tutu. It came off quick.
Playing outside at the water table.
BUBBLES!!!
Dad at the grill!
From left to right: Carol, PawPaw, Granny Sue, Mimi, Aunt Sherry, Aunt Kim, Aunt Cindy(hiding), and Aunt Sheila. We were so happy that they could all make it! We missed Aunt Missy though!
Birthday cupcakes
She wouldn't touch the cupcakes! She had to have a cheetoh!
We were so excited that Susan and Chris pushed through naptime and brought our cousin Kayla!
